2009

2009 is an EP inspired by sketches I recorded during that year in Mexico and Scotland. The challenge for this month's EP was to use only ukulele and vocals in at least one track.

This is the final entry in the Project 12 series where I recorded an EP every month for a year based on sketches I had previously recorded on my phone. Every EP is titled after a year and used demos from that year as a basis for each composition.

I hope you enjoyed following the project and that you like some of the music that came out of it. I'll be posting a video on YouTube soon explaining the process, what I learned, and how my music and production techniques evolved over the year.

With this EP I've also added a PDF with the lyrics, photos from that time period, and a few recollections and thoughts. Enjoy!
